Corporate Sponsors Program

CORPORATE SPONSORS

NHTA’s overriding goal is to give our Corporate Sponsors easy, inexpensive and PRECISE ACCESS to the $40 Billion Dollar consumer purchasing power of over ONE MILLION Hispanic families that constitute the growing base of our transportation industry. This goal will be accomplished through the use of NHTA’s proprietary data bank which contains specific information for over 1,490,000 transportation companies nationwide, including Mexican and Canadian transportation companies, and which data base will allow our Corporate Sponsors to instantly reach hundreds of thousands of our members through direct links in our website and through precise zip code level mail-out and digital advertising on-demand. In Texas alone, our proprietary data bank has identified over 162,000 transportation companies, of which, over 50,000 are Hispanic owned. Additionally, in Texas alone, there are over 300,000 Hispanics with commercial driver’s licenses.

With an average of five employees per Hispanic trucking company, NHTA will provide marketing access to over 250,000 Hispanic families in Texas. Additionally, NHTA has many Hispanic national organizations as “ALLIANCE PARTNERS” which will allow our Corporate Sponsors, “bilateral access” to very many additional Associate Members from other national Hispanic organizations that fully support the goals and objectives of NHTA. Corporate Sponsors will also be able to meet our individual members at our quarterly meetings and at NHTA’s Annual Trucking Conference & Expo, where they may attend conference events and be able to sponsor private social events with selected Hispanic

OUR VISION FOR AMERICA

new_visionAs proud residents of North America, the National Hispanic Transportation Alliance (“NHTA”) will zealously promote and foster a spirit of international brotherhood with and amongst all over-the-road transportation businesses, professionals associated therewith and all related enterprises located in the USA, Mexico, Canada and other Latin American countries. We pledge and resolve to bring together, harmoniously, all business viewpoints in order to actively seek out, identify and promote business and cross-cultural opportunities, of every kind, that are of mutual benefit to our members and our corporate sponsors.

OUR VISION FOR AMERICA AND OUR HISPANIC TRUCKING COMMUNITY

The National Hispanic Transportation Alliance (“NHTA”) has established a primary goal for each of our four major constituencies, which are:

  • Hispanic Transportation Companies
  • Hispanic Transportation Families
  • Non-Hispanic Transportation Companies and independent drivers and
  • Our Corporate Sponsor community

HISPANIC TRANSPORTATION COMPANIES

Our goal is to significantly improve the lives of each NHTA Hispanic Transportation Company member by offering a broad range of business support services that increase the profitability of each of our member’s business and by providing, through our corporate sponsors and contracted service providers, services and products that meet the highest quality standards at the most reasonable discounted prices attainable.

NHTA also joins forces with national and community based skills training centers, in order to provide relevant skills training for the next generation of Hispanic trucking professionals through our affiliated non-profit organization known as the United States Community Development Corporation which is the sponsor of our Annual Trucking Conference & Expo. Each of our trucking company members is encouraged to register their drivers, mechanics, dispatchers, office and other employees and their family members as Associate Members so that they too can participate in our discounted services and products programs offered by NHTA and its corporate sponsors.

HISPANIC TRANSPORTATION FAMILIES

Our goal is to include NHTA Trucking Company member’s employees and families as Associate Members by offering them a broad range of family support services and products provided through our corporate sponsors.

NHTA offers such services as auto loans, mortgage loans, legal services, life insurance, retirement plans, financial planning services, hotels, accident and health insurance, discounted prescription pharmacy card, debit card program, low cost electrical residential services, office skills training services and many other consumer products and services, all of which are provided by our corporate sponsors.

NON-HISPANIC OWNERS AND INDEPENDENT OWNERS AND DRIVERS

One of NHTA’s over-arching goals is to create a BUSINESS ALLIANCE between NHTA’s Hispanic members and the broader non-Hispanic, mainstream business communities, including all other racial, minority and gender business associations. NHTA will implement specific programs that greatly increase business-to-business relationships between our Hispanic members and our non-Hispanic members. For example, mainstream freight carriers and other logistics corporations will have the opportunity to enroll their own drivers and staff in NHTA’s benefits program. And for those companies seeking additional drivers, such companies will have the ability to advertise their current vacancies on a day-to-day basis on the NHTA website.

They will also be able to team up with NHTA to participate in and/or create driver training programs that will be set up in conjunction with numerous community colleges and school districts throughout the State of Texas and eventually, the entire nation.

Similarly, when mainstream corporations or other transportation companies need “ready, willing and able” minority and/or women certified and qualified subcontractors to satisfy federal, state and local D/MWBE requirements, or wish to secure qualified minority and/or women –owned joint venture partners, they will be able to request lists of NHTA members that are known to meet those rigorous criteria as measured by NHTA’s FIVE STAR RATING SYSTEM.
